Matthew Mills - Boldly Stepping Into Musical Infinity

Classical to neo-classical, Flamenco and new virtuosity paradigms

Matthew Mills began playing guitar at the age of fifteen after being blown away by Yngwie Malmsteen’s “Trilogy” album. Taking guitar very seriously, Matthew began practicing as much as 6 to 8 hours a day.

Matthew has developed a transcendental level of virtuosity, in the grand tradition of Paganini and Franz Liszt that is compelling  the global  guitar community to  take notice. He is one of the very few guitarists alive that, single handedly, points the way to the future of musical expression development on the guitar.

His enthusiastically lauded and critically acclaimed acoustic guitar playing has very few peers worldwide, in any genre.

Guitar World Magazine Honors

Guitar World magazine listed Matthew Mills as one of The “50 Fastest Guitar Shredders of All Time” in the July 2008 issue, alongside and array of iconic  artists such as John McLaughlin, Al Di Meola, and Yngwie Malmsteen.
